SWMM6 UX Explorer

A single-file browser recreation of the OpenSWMM 6.0-alpha desktop interface, wired to a live demo model.

What this is

The full OpenSWMM 6 workspace — Object Browser, map canvas, playback bar, Analysis Toolbox, Properties, Simulation Status, Message Logs, and a queryable Attribute Table — rebuilt in one HTML file around a procedurally generated 60-node / 59-link dendritic network (59 junctions, 1 outfall, 58 subcatchments, 1 rain gage).

What the numbers are

A simplified demo engine, not SWMM: rational-method runoff (Q = C·i·A/360) smoothed by a linear reservoir, pure-translation routing down the tree, and Manning normal depth solved per conduit per time step. Every value shown on the map, in Properties, and in the Analysis Toolbox comes from that computation — verified in Node.js before this UI was built. The File ▸ Export user1.inp file is the real thing: it runs through EPA SWMM 5.2.4 with zero errors and −0.04% routing continuity (SWMM's dynamic-wave outfall peak is 8.36 m³/s vs this demo engine's 5.95 — different hydrology, honestly labeled).

Demo engine: rational runoff + translation routing + Manning normal depth — not SWMM engine results.
